A Trip to the Dog Park

Managed to get out of the house for a bit today. Took the pups to the dog park. The sun was shining but the wind was blowing... brrrr!

I am still just soaking everything in and wrapping my head around what my life is now.  Not having to cart around tanks of oxygen for simple outings like going to the dog park is a blessing and I will never again take for granted these simple things, things we don't even think about or consider until we are forced to live life in survival mode.  I had grown accustomed to needing to cart around tanks and extra tubes and cannulas.  Getting out of the house took planning and a ton of effort.  Making sure we had enough tanks, that we had the correct rolling cart, that we had keys to lock and unlock the regulators, not to mention the actual regulators.  Haha!  It was an entire process to get out of the house - but now?  I simply walk to my car, get in and drive away.  It is a miracle.  Please remember to be thankful for the simple things!  I know I will!
