I am still working with several therapists to regain use of the right side of my body. I am learning how to feed myself, brush my own teeth, wash my own face, text on my phone, write with a pen and they have given me tools to use for teaching. There is a team here dedicated to trying to make being in the hospital a little less depressing. They provide things like games, puzzles, sticker books and they even take patients out for little field trips. They go to the zoo or the beach or the park. Of course because of Covid the field trips have been put on pause. Which is actually fine by me since I am still unable to walk on my own anyway. I have definitely been enjoying the tools they have given me to become strong again and it passes the time as well.
My homework from occupational therapy. Never thought I'd be all proud to complete this worksheet at 42 years old but here I am, killing it.
